1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all behaviour consultations and training programmes provided by Animal Behaviour Kent (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By booking a behaviour programme with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

- Initial consultation (in-home)
- Follow-up sessions (in-home and/or virtual)

The programme is not a one-off session and requires commitment and follow-through from the client for best results.
3. Booking & Payment

- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an agreed instalment.
- A veterinary referral is required before the initial consultation.

- Payment must be made via bank transfer, card payment, or another agreed method.

6. Liability & Safety
6.1 Animal Behaviour & Risk Acknowledgement
- While we use science-based, ethical methods, no behaviourist can guarantee specific outcomes, as every pet is unique.
- Some behaviours may initially worsen before improvement is seen, which is part of the learning process.
- You acknowledge that working with animals carries inherent risks and agree to follow our safety instructions at all times.
6.2 Liability Limitation
- We are not liable for injury, damage, or loss caused by your pet before, during, or after the programme.
- Any training or behaviour modification is undertaken at your own risk.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your pet is under control at all times during sessions.
6.3 Veterinary & Medical Liability
- You confirm that your pet is in good health and has no medical conditions affecting behaviour unless disclosed.
- Any medical concerns must be addressed by a veterinarian before training begins.
- We reserve the right to pause or terminate the programme if we believe medical intervention is required.
