A behaviour consultation is ideal for dogs experiencing issues including aggression to people, aggression to other dogs, separation anxiety, destructive behaviour, chewing, self mutilation or fearful behaviour. The initial consultation will last 1-2 hours. A behaviourist will assess the dog's needs, put together a structured behaviour modification plan specific to your dog, and help you put this into practice. After the initial consult you will be sent a full behaviour report outlining our recommendations. This will include one year of email and phone support with a qualified dog behaviourist. We can also forward a copy of the report to your vet if we are working under veterinary referral. There is then the option of one or more follow up consultations, in some more complex cases, this may be deemed necessary, however for some dogs, the initial consultation is enough.
We cover more general training in our 1:1 training sessions which tackle issues such as recall, loose lead walking, jumping up and trick training. Whether you need to start your training from scratch, or want to perfect your dog's existing skills, this is a great option. If you want regular support you can book our Perfect Pooch dog training package which offers comprehensive long term training support for owners looking to work on a number of issues.
We offer a number of comprehensive dog training packages to help get you and your dog on the right track.
We are able to continue operating under current coronavirus restrictions. We are following government guidelines and have stringent safety measures in place. This does mean there are some changes to the way we work, which we can take you through once you have got in touch and discuss the type of service best suited to you.
All our consultation services are offered both in person, and virtually via Zoom. In many cases, online consultations are a great option, as they prevent any additional stress for the dog, whilst still allowing us to observe them in their own environment.
If you would like to book an online behavioural consultation, get in touch through our contact form.
